Compass Legal Marketing is seeking an experienced legal marketer to join our team as a Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to work remotely. You will support marketing and business development initiatives for our law firm clients. You must be efficient, reliable, organized, resilient, and highly capable.
This is a remote position with occasional travel for in-person meetings and events.
Responsibilities
- Work on a wide array of legal marketing projects for our law firm clients, which range from boutique to AmLaw 100 firms
- Draft content for announcements, bios, websites, email campaigns, social media campaigns, RFPs and proposals, pitches, and other communications
- Prepare awards & rankings submissions
- Work on law firm operations projects for boutique firms
Requirements/skills
- Bachelor’s degree + minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of the legal marketing ecosystem
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
- Strong writing skills
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative, professional environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and to work well under pressure
- Ability to manage high volume of tasks
- Fluent in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with budgets, and basic formulas in Excel
- Occasional travel required for events
Preferred Skills
- Experience with A/R, A/P, payroll
- Experience with professional service or law firm pricing, proposals and/or operations
